For those recovering from joint replacement, stroke, major illness or trauma, rehabilitation care at The Villages at Southern Hills provides dedicated care in a comfortable setting. Our program is designed to accelerate recovery from an injury or illness by offering a unique combination of intensive, focused rehabilitation along with 24-hour skilled nursing care. Our on-site rehab program consists of Physical therapy, Occupational therapy and Speech therapy.

Family Involvement
At The Villages at Southern Hills, we realize that a key component of residents’ success in attaining their goal to return home is the involvement of their family. To help promote residents’ recovery, we invite families to actively participate in resident care and discharge planning meetings. Working directly with the resident and family, a social worker is available to assist with insurance issues, help with discharge planning and support individual treatment goals. In addition, our team of therapists will do a home safety assessment and provide educational materials so that residents can more effectively manage a safe transition home after a skilled rehab stay.
